Company Blogs - you’ve taken years to build the brand now it’s out of your hands


Blogging is currently flavour of the month and it is interesting to see all types of businesses try to get to grips with losing control of their brand - to a greater or lesser extent depending upon the amount of pent up frustration out there it seems.
There have been numerous instances of companies ignoring the online power of blogs for example Dell came an almighty cropper recently when one dissatisfied customer used his blog to make his feelings known and was joined by thousands of other disgruntled customers. The result - Dell concluded that long term damage had been done to their brand. So it would seem that even the most conservative companies out there should get their heads around blogs because if you don’t one of your employees or customers will do it for you.
